This Ambiguoid began as all my ambiguous sketches start, with a random pencil stroke. I showed it to Lisa and she immediately declared “That’s me.” A team effort then. She is glad to join with each and all my characters.

Thanks for viewing.

My first thought was Cinderella’s stepmother 🙂 Sorry, Lisa.

I think that both of you are correct, Rosaliene. In terms of outside appearance, the wizard within the mirror honestly reported that Cinderella’s stepmother was the fairest of all (“die schönste Frau im ganzen Land” in the original German) until Cinderella made the scene. Interestingly, the German word for poison is “das Gift”, a curious bilingual happenstance. One of my German students told me about a tourist shop in Seattle’s German district named Das Gift Shop. 🙂

Actually, the name of the shop was “Das Gift Haus”. Google reports many such places.

Many thanks, Katrina. I am already working on the next one, featuring a handful of characters. It will have the title:
SNOR vs. GREMLIN
