What is a Sovereign Citizen?

Who become the subservient insovereign dregs of society?

This is an extension to my recent post Don’t Tread on These: a look at the assumptions observed by strong law and order. Its advocates seek to exercise civic “sovereignty” in order to achieve the spoils of graft and impropiety with all the self-righteousness and self-whiteousness that devote inalienable rights without responsibiity; however, they never balk at denying inalienable rights to any other group that is representative of American society.

Abberant behavior writ large

What can I get away with? Does the system of governance reward personal liberty at the expense of unrestrained greed. If you want something enough, you should claim it as any greedy and slovenly sovereign would. To the arrogant go the spoils and the promotions.

Recently, a guy who hankered to become a police officer cobbled together some assault rifles, identity cards, and cheap labor. The hankerer is a certain Jeremy DeWitte. He enjoyed the trappings and the respect that a cop may sometimes garner, so he took to showing up at funeral processions riding a motorcyle and screaming obsenities at the disobedient with a loud and foul mouth. Jeremy crafted his own version of a twisted American dream. Unfortunately, it collapsed into ashes within a few short weeks. The Trump Administration allowed us to witness a society without scruples, a blood thirst that still knows no barriers. Anti-vaccination fervor continues to provide a sense of sovereignity to the least qualified and the most destructive. I remain convinced that Trump would have won reelection had a pandemic not ruled otherwise.

The American Empire has not won a single conflict in my lifetime. Every single attempt has cost more lives and funds than the ones that preceded it, yet the guardians of collective amnesia continue to stumble into every war with a pride that defines exceptional values as boundless for the sovereign American and openly hostile to the people they despise. American history is written large and arrogantly to apologize for each slaughter of the innocents, the extraction of geopolitically valuable resources, and the installation of puppets to administer power swaps. As its citizens, we own all the degradation, torture and death caused by imperious ambition — planetwide.

The system is systemically gamed at every level, the white-supremacism that drives ever greater inequality does not yield to any of those tightly defined levels. The body politic recognizes no fairness doctrine. A society steeped in racism never admits that the cancer of supremacism even exists. Black Lives Matters gets identified as a hate group, all conclusive studies that point to systemic racism are dismissed as unAmerican activity. Utter furor followed each utterance of any combination of three curious words in any order:

Critical Race Theory.

For every lynching that takes place at any geography, at any moment in history, is automatically labelled as anti-liberty, anti-American, anti-God, anti-Guts, anti-Guns.

The ethnicity of the present Justices meeting as a US Supreme Court is wildly at odds with the will of the governed. Five of Nine are Catholic (a word that has nothing to do with universality), it now leans sufficiently rightwing to make its rulings even more aberrant. They represent an essentially single-issue faith that does nothing to address the country’s diversity amid enormous income inequality. It is an engine for maintaining the status quo, for directing reactionary political thought into rigidly doctrinal hegemony.

Cads and Scoundrels

Recently, some fellow friends of Palestine invited a Palestinian woman to a Major League baseball game, a sport that draws fans of all ages. The expression “as American as…” includes a proclivity to demonstrative force. The National Anthem represents just another way to blow a few things up, the celebration of explosions works to favor the celebration of ignorance as well. The American calendar is replete with noisy holidays. This goes on as I type: the fireworks offered domestically and planet wide. They are gathering at a baseball stadium to observe F-16s breaking silence. The Star-Spangled Banner recalls a hell on Earth in the form of War Birds bringing random death to innocents around the Planet. The Palestinian woman at the Ballpark was not forewarned of the intervention of peace in the sky above. She sought a hiding place where she could hide and scream. 

PTSD is everyday life in Palestine, every day. We fund it and keep the insanity at a pandemic level. American bombs rip bodies into flaming pieces of nameless collateral victims of Pax Americana. The discipline of the Spartan members of our military state drops the “bombs bursting in air” to the children of Yemen. The object is to blow up bodies for the furtherance of fear and loathing in a military theater populated by drones. The inaptly named Department of Defense commands a disproportionate share of scientific progress. Drones were first used to drop death from a continent and an ocean away: job one. Using drones to drop Amazon orders had to wait, but capitalism is never far behind. The US Empire sells bright, gleaming works of art that get the job done with a sufficient body count to justify a war theater for our geopolitical friends in Israel and within the family of Saud. Explosions make customers happy. For each bomb exploded, a replacement order is cut. Munitions keep the merchants of death wealthy.

Killing children in the name of Pax Americana

Freedom fighters who drop hell from a blue sky, making the world safe for the hegemonic. A blue sky is chosen because it makes the tracking of innocents more visible. The joystick may be in an F16 or some such death dispersal device. Or that joystick may be located in a bunker somewhere in a red State. It is dark underground, where a soldier sits with headphones and observes the details revealed by the Sun. It also makes it possible to read the fear on the faces assigned to death. I understand that the cameras available on a drone are capable of allowing the death dealer to look into the eyes of the target marked for death. PTSD is the most commonly reported response for the brain of the joystick holder. Freedom is not free — it requires the expenditure of many black and brown bodies.

Of course, these bunkers are also located at trusted sites. The largest of these bunkers is by Israeli Occupation Forces located at militarily important geopolitical sites. They are also brought to the field where an “enemy” gets obliterated by projectiles. Mobile units are strategically located near the apartheid wall. Teams of death dealers decide on the specific methods for delivering humiliation. One popular decision is to aim at a single knee of a young freedom fighter on the inconvenient side of a loathingly enforced apartheid barrier. Maim the young such that they live miserable existences and “stand” as examples for the Israeli Occupation Forces.

I have friends who had invited a Palestinian to a baseball game. As usual, sports and F-16s dropped through the sky to add some thrill to a Star-Spangled Banner that speaks of a hell that gets the expected results for our patriotic War Birds, the gentlemen who bring random death to the most innocent among us.

That Palestinian woman at the Ballpark sought a hiding place where she could hide and scream. It is what happens when your entire life is peppered with expendable bombs to waste expendable human units. American bombs rip bodies into flaming portions of nameless collateral value the world over. These are in absurdly disproportionate war theaters such as Yemen. There, they patriotically blow up bodies to serve as targets in a game called fear and loathing. The US Empire sells these bright, gleaming phallic to get the job done with zero possible retaliation. Black and brown bodies are cheap if you are a freedom fighter who drops hell from a blue sky, making the world safe for capitalist hegemons. A blue sky is chosen because it makes the tracking of innocents: the targets. The joystick may be in an F16 or some other death delivering device. A joystick may be located in a bunker somewhere in a red State. It may be dark outside the hole in which a soldier sits with headphones and observes the details revealed by the Sun that illuminates targets and improves the kill count. It makes it possible to read the fear on the faces that have been dealt a death card. I understand that the cameras available on a drone are capable of allowing the death dealer to look into the eyes of the target marked for death. PTSD is the most commonly reported response for the joystick holder. Of course, these bunkers are also located at trusted purchaser sites. The largest of these bunkers is populated by Israeli Occupation Forces located at geopolitically secure sites. They are brought to the field where an enemy gets assigned a highly probably projectile made in the USA. The mobile units are positioned near an apartheid fence/wall/barrier. Teams of death dealers may decide upon different methods of humiliation dealt to the Palestinians for 73 years and counting. One popular option is to aim at a single knee of a young freedom fighter at an apartheid barrier. Maim them young so that they live unfortunate existences. So far, this has not reduced the number of individuals marked for maiming. The US allocates $3.8 to keep the death-dance cadence. In Israel alone.

Death by Extraordinary Rendition

Cops jump on new bandwagon, strangulation becomes a fad

This strangler only took five minutes to strangle a citizen-victim to death under custody in Alameda, California, a new favorite lynching technique that suddenly and decidedly has become de rigueur. It’s a staid normal for cops who wish to engage in the same loyal way that Derek Chauvin made popular in Minneapolis, Minnesota. “Death under custody” turns into a race to carve a notch into your pistol. Tune into the channels on the internet where such techniques are sharpened, where action plans are drawn, and where white supremacism turns its weight against undesirable elements, from the dregs of society that threaten to destroy the American Dream. Details are not needed because they might later raise questions that are better left unanswered. Get the job done, get the hell out, and await further extrajudicial orders online and on the street. Beware of teenagers bearing video-capable phones.

Death by custody

Police departments rush to train officers who end up killing people under custody in new startling ways. There are countries where such training is provided, where it is routinely conducted in military-sized groupings, places where the extraordinarily ugly term “extraordinary rendition” keeps extra judiciary torture and ensuing death under confidential gentlemen’s’ agreements. A gentlemen’s agreement to hide evidence under a pile of platitudes is maintained to make society safe for rogue players. These agreements keep the jail cells free for the lesser-desirable incarcerated, for victimless crimes where a crime is defined in the eyes of a lone policeman who receives nods of approval from those who look like him, who were created in the image of Him. Ask no questions and I will tell you no lies. Injustice happens and it happens in the blink of an eye. Suspect dead on suspicion of suspicious activity. Log it and forget it.

This is a thousand lightyears from Mayberry, but it is explained in terms that fit an American myth, a myth that bears no resemblance to a courtroom where decisions have already been made to justify death by custody. The amount of time taken to conduct a custody may range from a number of hours to a number of seconds. The presence of arms in the hands of the presumed criminal requires no details, anything from a cell phone to a pack of cigarettes is enough to bring a cop to enter the following magical incantation that closes the case:

“I feared for my life.”

QUOD ERAT DEMONSTRANDUM.

Justice is molded in the plot of a television program that churns out platitudes sixty words per minute. The cop shows that justify every police action runs from squad car policemen on a beat to the careful doling out of law and order in a justice system set in stone. From TV show to predictable dialog at the cinema that defines reality in white America. Dirty Harry cuts corners, but each corner cut is served to an audience that looks forward to seeing a perfect policeman in action for a justice delivered in chunks that are easy to understand, where it is easy to color within the lines. Just dole out instant justice, Mr. Policeman. Just do it, and do it fast. Make it fit the American Way. Make us feel safe, protected, and served.

Gobsmacked and Disgusted

Aid to the Church in Need

Yesterday, I learned of an organization founded in 1947, a team of Catholics who evangelize for the one holy Catholic Roman and Apostolic church. The basis for their formation is the belief that Catholics are the most persecuted religion on the planet. These fancy that Christians, very specifically Catholics, have more martyrs than ever, that they are subjected to waves of persecutions. These Freedom and Liberty lovers who wish to bring the naysayers to their knees. Their self-described victimhood knows no bounds. Their willingness to sell their souls for personal gain at the expense of others is manifest. The flame of capitalism is their icon.

While millions of Muslims are exterminated, this is happening

It’s hard to imagine that the 21st Century is yet ruled by likes of these friends of Inquisition and proponents for a return to the glorious days of the Crusades. Islamophobic nut-cases not only yet creep among us, but they are hideously well-funded. They are agents for a new Catholic Century, they are giddily received by the broadcasters who invite them to airwaves that are already sought by the true believers of rightwing supremacism.

Did I mention that they are well funded? Before Trump departed a residence on Pennsylvania Avenue, for the celebratory events of January 6, 2021. A new fascist with better people skills is already going through the grooming, Fascism doesn’t simply disappear from the scene, and its lifeblood is capitalism.

This is Freedom?

I am not the only person who has been gobsmacked by such events. The local drive-time broadcaster welcomed a member of the men-of-the-cloth who yearn for a return to the pre enlightenment. Here is a link to the interview that introduced me to these gentle souls, Steve Bannon was a drive-time away from the Vatican when he was shuffled out. A new team is always there to ring in the old days of patriarchal presumption. Aid to the Church in Need have no time for the victims of the US Empire who drop missiles on unarmed Muslims, hospitals, who starve millions at the behest of a fossil-fuel family (the Kingdom of Saud is a single family who purchase US arms by the billions of dollars.

China maintains concentration camps for the Uighurs, millions are exterminated in Western China. Compare these numbers to the sanctified Church that pays no taxes, yet recieves multiple billions of Federal dollars from Covid relief. It is simply and quietly delivered to their coffers.

A Google search reveals a great many proponents of propaganda of the faith society who join in with the spin. Racism is a meticulously measured force of a white supremacism that finds a ready audience and a yearning for a strong man to enforce the spirit of law and order that never goes out of style. Money to assure political success. CBS is one media source that is paying attention to the funds transfer.

Have I mentioned that racism runs rampant in the Holy and Apostolic parishes.These are not friends of George Floyd or any of the police officers who preceded Derek Chauvin. Blacks are simply not among the congregants, the few who have are of the ilk of Uncle Toms of a Clarence Thomas massive sell outs. Speaking more about Supreme Court seats: six of the nine Supreme Court Justices are Catholic, these six are also well connected with the lords and ladies of politic society. Not a single Muslim exists on SCOTUS. This while the genuinely martyred are among the two billion who identify with sects of their faith.

A Google search reveals a great many proponents of propaganda of the faith society who join in with the spin. A search seems always to include those who oppose movements — such as myself, but this organization manages to defy the expected. The proponents outweigh the opponents 100 to 1. A link to CBS connects the dots that follow the money. So far it is the only site that brings a discussion of the massive transfer of dollars to make up for the Catholic team’s losses suffered among the payouts caused by the sexual-deviants, enough to satisfy the court decisions and to leave several billion dollars for the home team. Curiously, the founder of the organization has been convincingly identified as a sexual predator. The very fellow who founded it. You may not be surprised to hear that the very founder who had his hands in the cookie jars started it all in his native Germany.

So what does the future hold for these neo inquisitors who seek to checkmate those among us who know the way to twist and turn the Constitution to keep America white ever again? That is a trick point. America has always been white-determined and favored. The cards are held and played to game the system in every corner of the US Empire.

Still gobsmacked me though.
