Just Genocide

Western Evilization is a sanctimonious white-supremacist system that justifies its brutal crime scenes with impunity. They employ superior firepower at every stage to ethnically cleanse stolen lands and ancient cultures. Their god works in mysterious ways, but it turns out all white in the end. A jealous whitewashed deity bestows divinely manifest blessings upon a dominant Western European imperial model. It is a system imposed in the name of demonocracy by fulsome imperial overlords who believe themselves manifestly privileged to mete things out. American descendants of slavery are the progeny of human resources deemed “necessary” for transforming an agrarian to an industrial economy. The enslavement of Blacks from Africa began in 1619, it coincided with the systemic genocide of every indigenous tribe, a process begun with the arrival of European empires more than a century earlier.

Originalism

Originalism: interpreting the US Constitution as the legal instrument of white wealthy propertied men. It is a system of governance that mirrors the actual events of US history. Every treaty signed with every tribe wasted during European colonization has been abrogated — dismissed with wild and wily abandon. How would the founding slavers deal with racial injustice and an exclusionary justice system? How many brutally exploited beings does it take to make a single billionaire?

A Declaration for White, Propertied Men

Here, I reword a section of the US Declaration of Independence to reflect the actual intent of the moral compass that guides thieves, liars, lynchers, and capitalists?

…We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all white wealthy propertied men are created equal, that they are endowed by their White European Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among white wealthy propertied Men, deriving their jealous powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these white wealthy propertied Mens’ ends, it is the Right of the white wealthy propertied Men to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect white wealthy propertied Mens’ Safety and Happiness…

    Judging by your recent rate of posting on your blog, you are on fire!

    Your excellent post here resonates well with my own position about American exceptionalism and originalism, both of which have been fraught with outstanding issues as well as controversies.

    In any case, it is going to be an arduous task because saving and rehabilitating the USA aside, we also need the political economy of saving the planet. Yet the entrenched and insidious issues of plutocracy have loomed even larger, thus continuing to thwart many efforts mounted to save the nation and the planet. Whilst Pluto has been demoted to a dwarf planet, the planet of America, so to speak, has already ascended to plutocracy. Social and economic polarizations can further exacerbate the issues of wealth, and such polarizations are increasing for the following reason: The USA is very much plagued in varying degrees by misinformation, disinformation, post-truth politics, demagoguery, plutocracy, oligarchy, ochlocracy, kleptocracy, kakistocracy, narcissistic leadership, neoliberalism and globalization.

    At an academic blog named “Voices from the Margins: A welcoming space for resistance to the forces of oppression and hegemony” and created “to encourage dialogue about possibilities and support for alternate ways of communicating that celebrate the inclusiveness of diversity”, Dr Carol A Hand highlights in her post titled “Disunited States – Reflection on the Morning After” the impacts of socialization and acculturation as well as entrenched sociodemographic factors and unresolved social injustices in producing systemic and structural (dis)advantages that shape the trajectories and outcomes of individual human lives, especially those who have been marginalized:

    What do we expect from the soul of a nation built on genocide, enslavement, and unearned entitlement based on gender, the claim of property “ownership,” and ancestry? Why should it be surprising when the legitimacy of the governing structure of such a nation is challenged by those who inherited their positions on the margins and view themselves as victims of its unfair system?

    In a very real sense, all of us have been socialized to accept and internalize our congenital place in a given society. Every aspect of the social values and institutions we encounter is affected by our positionality – our birth, where we live, how our parents parent us, the quality of nutrition, care, and education we receive. We are constantly reminded about our place in the social order. Myths of meritocracy encourage a largely unattainable false hope that we can achieve increased social status if we work hard enough. We are rarely, if ever, encouraged to question the legitimacy of the values or institutions that constrain our life possibilities, though.

    The work and resources of people on the margins are essential for the continuing existence and comfort of the parasitic elite. The issue of how to control the vastly more sizeable percentage of the population that is marginalized has been accomplished through a capillary network of discriminatory practices in every aspect of people lives by their ability to pay. Education is a crucial dimension in the socialization process. Those who are lowest in the social structure are the least likely to receive an education that prepares them to think critically and aspire to professional careers (other than sports) or leadership positions.

The various empires that laid claim to the Western Hemisphere conquered, “pacified”, plundered, colonized, and enslaved since 1492 followed the same modus operandi in what they called The New World — hardly new to the indigenous groups who have developed advanced cultures for millennia. White European arrogance, what I call Western Evilization, ruthlessly dealt with them while satisfying themselves that it was all bestowed upon them by a whitewashed god. There are three monotheistic gods who claim Abraham as their guiding father, but the Judeo-Christian sides of the triad condemn the Islamic vision of the same patriarchal god and Ibrahimic father. Ishmael the firstborn was banished and exiled, Islam has been demonized ever since and in every possible way.
      The US Empire learned its lessons from the British Empire in 1776, in less than a century they had nearly wiped out everything from the 13 colonies to the Pacific Ocean. The environmental destruction that followed parallels the threat to the entire planet that began with the extraction of fossil fuels. The petro giants knew that drastic climate change would follow in a matter of decades, their own scientists plotted the course in 1973. Capitalism has no compunction, it suffers no alternative system. Sheer madness does not make for a stable geopolitical economy, yet it may never be questioned. That madness is glorified in US classrooms from one generation to the next, memorized by each student and passed on and on — with everyone reciting the very same soundbites. Criticism is anathema.

        Thank you for your reasoned response and elaboration. In many ways, the Age of Enlightenment has been built upon or achieved via the subjugation and exploitation of the third and fourth worlds, whose numerous citizens are still paying the terrible price more than 500 years later.

        In any case, I have mentioned to some folks in the not-too-distant past that as much as I have admired and respected Canadian-American cognitive scientist Steven Pinker (the author of his 2018 book “Enlightenment Now: The Case for Reason, Science, Humanism, and Progress” and his considerable contributions through his research and publications, I am afraid that many, if not all, of his oversights and biases are indefensible, and worse still, can be misleading and/or untenable. In the aforementioned book, Pinker could have written in a far more balanced approach, stating both the pros and cons, or do an in-depth SWOT analysis. Instead, he sanguinely defends the Enlightenment project to the detriment of being adequately impartial, unbiased, longitudinal, consilient and multidisciplinary. Compared to his earlier books, those recent ones, including “Enlightenment Now”, have fallen (far) short, especially to experts and readers who are more punctilious, holistic, multidisciplinary and consilient than he has ever been.

        Though very well-written, Steven Pinker’s books are not without some serious problems, for he has cherry-picked a lot of data, and also left out and overlooked relevant information as well as counterarguments and contrary data. Many analyses and projections showing that all is not (nearly or remotely) as well as Pinker claims, plus a plethora of information, statistics and analyses that are absent from his books. His data are also quite Eurocentric, and data from other continents are scant or lacking by comparison.

        Another writer with similar and numerous problems in his findings, formulations, discussions and conclusions is Jordan Peterson.

        1. Actually, you have touched on so many highly salient points that a mere reply would not suffice, it deserves an entire new blog entry.
          The Age of Enlightenment is both a misnomer and an era despised by some of the religious institutions that have benefited most from brutal hegemony over millennia. These “men of the cloth” and their apologists posit that we should return to a pre-enlightened era, to return to a more clergy-friendly time. The same presumptuous lot that welcomes a more fascist-friendly fiefdom. Today I listened to a rant by a far-right broadcaster who serves a local audience in this geography. He may just have set a new low bar for full-throated and vitriolic screed — a take-no-prisoners stance on those who find fault with fascist “efforts” to accept Trump as Emperor-King.
          I am hoping that you find my new blog entry “compellingly superb in one way or the other.”

Along with not being Protestant, many multi-generational citizens of almost every European nation have the additional disadvantage of being Westerners born with a dark(er) complexion (with brown eyes), as opposed to those Europeans born with a more Anglo-Saxon white complexion, usually accompanied by blue eyes.

    If I’m correct, the dark(er) complexioned Europeans, though their continental heritage can go back decades (if not centuries), are to some degree descendants of Middle Eastern settlers, or even those from the times of the Ottoman Empire.

    Regardless of their blood being just as red as every other human being, they would be unjustly considered, readily referred to — and indeed treated, if allowed — by white supremacists, and others of like bigoted mind, as simply “Turks” or “dirty whites”.

    It is depressingly awful that such grotesque racial/ethnic perceptions and treatment of others persist even in modern times.

    1. Thank you for the kind comment, Sir. The white-supremacist brand is still behind the settler-colonialist model: Western Civilization and a Judeo-Christian tradition. Israel continues with that model. Zionism is solidly European by design and the original Mizrahi are excluded at every opportunity. White supremacism is the demographic law.
