Sirius-XM Urban View 126

Urban View is an independent Black-owned media source (Channel 126) that provides me an escape from banal predictable radio fare 24/7. Actually, a resource for anyone seeking fresh news presented by highly qualified hosts who speak their own minds. Unfiltered.

It is as freely available a subscription package I seek when the frenetic overwhelms me. I am the kind of person who keeps a small note book available to jot notes, when I can find a safe place to note important stuff. Actually, one such spiral pads from the Dollar Tree rests on my desk as I tap these keys. The nearest one has some hastily recorded notes on a certain Clarence Moses, a man incarcerated in Colorado from 1987 to 1995 for the crime of appearing in a woman’s incoherent dream. DNA testing in 1993 established that he was innocent. The 10th Circuit Court District Attorney fabricated a story from unreliable sources to support the evidence of an unreliable woman’s fantasies, and presented that story as solid and irrefutable evidence. DNA actual evidence was somehow destroyed by sloppy handling within the Denver Police system, a pattern that one tabloid-quality newspaper ascribes to a “mistakes happened” mentality — one that places blacks in a position that conveniently forces black defendants to conform within a Jim Crow world. Ospreyshire describes the dynamic in a recent article on Ospreyshire’s Realm regarding Carolyn Bryant. Emmet Till casts a very long shadow indeed. Unaddressed acknowledgement of White Supremacy is a feature of the US Constitution and the horror that has been running its red thread through the DNA this country since 1619. Genocide and Slavery are principle links that explain the clearly explicable.

Moses is making himself available to others who find themselves in similar situations, take him at his word.

As ever, the actual perp has not even been sought. But what do I know?

Joe Madison (The Black Eagle) is an activist from way back in the 1960’s Civil Rights stage. Here is a quote from Madison recorded during his hunger strike in 2021:

“As all of you know, my show is action-oriented. It personifies taking action. I always say, ‘What are you going to do about it?’ And for me, it’s not just a slogan. It is what drives me and inspires me. And the difference between a moment and a movement is sacrifice, and although this is a moral as well as political cause for me, it is a component of a much larger movement.”

Cads and Scoundrels

Recently, some fellow friends of Palestine invited a Palestinian woman to a Major League baseball game, a sport that draws fans of all ages. The expression “as American as…” includes a proclivity to demonstrative force. The National Anthem represents just another way to blow a few things up, the celebration of explosions works to favor the celebration of ignorance as well. The American calendar is replete with noisy holidays. This goes on as I type: the fireworks offered domestically and planet wide. They are gathering at a baseball stadium to observe F-16s breaking silence. The Star-Spangled Banner recalls a hell on Earth in the form of War Birds bringing random death to innocents around the Planet. The Palestinian woman at the Ballpark was not forewarned of the intervention of peace in the sky above. She sought a hiding place where she could hide and scream. 

PTSD is everyday life in Palestine, every day. We fund it and keep the insanity at a pandemic level. American bombs rip bodies into flaming pieces of nameless collateral victims of Pax Americana. The discipline of the Spartan members of our military state drops the “bombs bursting in air” to the children of Yemen. The object is to blow up bodies for the furtherance of fear and loathing in a military theater populated by drones. The inaptly named Department of Defense commands a disproportionate share of scientific progress. Drones were first used to drop death from a continent and an ocean away: job one. Using drones to drop Amazon orders had to wait, but capitalism is never far behind. The US Empire sells bright, gleaming works of art that get the job done with a sufficient body count to justify a war theater for our geopolitical friends in Israel and within the family of Saud. Explosions make customers happy. For each bomb exploded, a replacement order is cut. Munitions keep the merchants of death wealthy.

Killing children in the name of Pax Americana

Freedom fighters who drop hell from a blue sky, making the world safe for the hegemonic. A blue sky is chosen because it makes the tracking of innocents more visible. The joystick may be in an F16 or some such death dispersal device. Or that joystick may be located in a bunker somewhere in a red State. It is dark underground, where a soldier sits with headphones and observes the details revealed by the Sun. It also makes it possible to read the fear on the faces assigned to death. I understand that the cameras available on a drone are capable of allowing the death dealer to look into the eyes of the target marked for death. PTSD is the most commonly reported response for the brain of the joystick holder. Freedom is not free — it requires the expenditure of many black and brown bodies.

Of course, these bunkers are also located at trusted sites. The largest of these bunkers is by Israeli Occupation Forces located at militarily important geopolitical sites. They are also brought to the field where an “enemy” gets obliterated by projectiles. Mobile units are strategically located near the apartheid wall. Teams of death dealers decide on the specific methods for delivering humiliation. One popular decision is to aim at a single knee of a young freedom fighter on the inconvenient side of a loathingly enforced apartheid barrier. Maim the young such that they live miserable existences and “stand” as examples for the Israeli Occupation Forces.

I have friends who had invited a Palestinian to a baseball game. As usual, sports and F-16s dropped through the sky to add some thrill to a Star-Spangled Banner that speaks of a hell that gets the expected results for our patriotic War Birds, the gentlemen who bring random death to the most innocent among us.

That Palestinian woman at the Ballpark sought a hiding place where she could hide and scream. It is what happens when your entire life is peppered with expendable bombs to waste expendable human units. American bombs rip bodies into flaming portions of nameless collateral value the world over. These are in absurdly disproportionate war theaters such as Yemen. There, they patriotically blow up bodies to serve as targets in a game called fear and loathing. The US Empire sells these bright, gleaming phallic to get the job done with zero possible retaliation. Black and brown bodies are cheap if you are a freedom fighter who drops hell from a blue sky, making the world safe for capitalist hegemons. A blue sky is chosen because it makes the tracking of innocents: the targets. The joystick may be in an F16 or some other death delivering device. A joystick may be located in a bunker somewhere in a red State. It may be dark outside the hole in which a soldier sits with headphones and observes the details revealed by the Sun that illuminates targets and improves the kill count. It makes it possible to read the fear on the faces that have been dealt a death card. I understand that the cameras available on a drone are capable of allowing the death dealer to look into the eyes of the target marked for death. PTSD is the most commonly reported response for the joystick holder. Of course, these bunkers are also located at trusted purchaser sites. The largest of these bunkers is populated by Israeli Occupation Forces located at geopolitically secure sites. They are brought to the field where an enemy gets assigned a highly probably projectile made in the USA. The mobile units are positioned near an apartheid fence/wall/barrier. Teams of death dealers may decide upon different methods of humiliation dealt to the Palestinians for 73 years and counting. One popular option is to aim at a single knee of a young freedom fighter at an apartheid barrier. Maim them young so that they live unfortunate existences. So far, this has not reduced the number of individuals marked for maiming. The US allocates $3.8 to keep the death-dance cadence. In Israel alone.

Palestine is African

Geologically, Palestine rests on the African tectonic plate, located precisely at the only land-route between Africa and Europe. Culturally, the Palestinian people have lived and thrived there for more than 2,000 years. Societally, they have stood at the crossroads of innumerable migrations, trade routes, the comings and goings of empires. The Palestinians are not leaving Palestine to take the (art of the phony) deal of the century.

In 1947, the British Empire abandoned The Raj — their puppet regime in South Asia. They left vast populations to fend for themselves when imperial ambitions could no longer criminally plunder. Arbitrary partitions were drawn in London by the elites who spewed in the chambers of Parliament — the same chambers Brexiteers presently pollute. Kashmir is merely the most recent victim of European hegemony, of patriotic white supremacist presumption.

A single blowhard elitist, Lord Balfour, issued a document as ambiguously worded as the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. The White Founding Fathers envisioned a Manifest Destiny for White European, English-speaking “settlers.” Were Whites endowed by their creator to Black human resources obtained from Africa?

Alexander Haig described Israel as a land-based aircraft carrier that promised a distinct advantage — it could not be sunk. It represented a militarily critical geopolitical footstep in the Middle East. Geopolitical advantage attracts tyrants. Does it not?

The empire of these United States still expresses an active interest in every squeezable square inch of terra firma. The US Treasury transfers ten million dollars a day to further militarize a country that has only been around as long as I’ve been around. Actually, I am eight-months older than Israel, a country still craving “a land without Palestinians for a people who hate Palestinians.”

One year after their Sun set in South Asia, the British Empire abandoned the Mandate for Palestine. In a sleight of hand, the terrorists who had bedeviled the British since 1929 began a pogrom to destroy Palestinian businesses, dispossess their families, empty their homes, destroy their towns, rename each town from Arabic to Hebrew, and to begin preparations for a wider geographic footprint — something dreadfully similar to the March of Tears, the Cherokee Nakba.

The sudden appearance of Israel caught a couple thousand years of Palestinian culture in an annihilating squeeze play. The geopolitical juggernaut of American empire played their land-based aircraft carrier card — actually, they are still playing the same card. What does not matter to the various shades of blue and white flag wavers — that the heirs of 2,000 years of Palestine must always yield to a State that did not even exist in 1947.

By comparison, Israel is a nuclear power. Had their Six-Day War faltered, they had a Plan B: set off a nuclear bomb in the Sinai Peninsula to serve as a warning.

Israel is also a white supremacist society that serves white persons and terrorizes non-white persons. Your life and livelihood is destroyed if you criticize Brand Israel.

White Israeli settlers routinely kill Palestinian children, there are quite a few proud boys among those settlers. Israeli soldiers fire expanding bullets at the legs of unarmed Palestinian youth. Israel’s message to Palestinian youth: Live long and suffer.

You would think that descendants of Holocaust victims would be the last persons on the planet who would adopt genocide as a solution. Wishing death to your enemy, to spray paint “Gas all Arabs” on Palestinian houses slated for demolition to house another 100,000 or so Israeli citizens.

You can be racist to the marrow and yet declare that each of your bones is bigotry free.

Racism gets results. Racism garners votes. Racism even improves approval ratings.

Reverse racism is as prevalent as Marxist Fascism. Literally.

Nice People — a short post I published on July 16, 2015, exactly one month into the Trump Era, the original essay of the same name was written by Bertrand Russell in 1931.

I have never seen so many nice people as I am seeing today. Racism finds comfort in White niceness, traditions, heritage, genealogy, histories. Any complicity with this nation’s wanton acts of evil gets glossed over with thick coatings of wash. Is genocide a sad but necessary concomitant of destiny? The price of progress, culture, and civilizations forged by the European? “You can’t make an omelet without breaking eggs” has convinced many an apologist of genocide , including Walter Duranty, Pulitzer Prize winner and fervid Stalin apologist.

History is taught to bow to the founding fathers: to the White men who conquered the Lands to serve the greater cause of manifest (if you are White) destiny. Destiny led to the genocide of Indigenous Peoples by the million, eliminating tribes by the hundreds, and destroying wild animals by the billion.

Remember why we really remember the Alamo — to nationalize Mexican land to the Rio Grande and up the Pacific sand, but to keep the cool-sounding Spanish town names.

The proper study of mankind is (White?)man, according to essayist Alexander Pope (1799), a self-referential congratulatory assumption by an author who just happens to be a White man. White men define Western Civilization to represent millenia of advances, that you have the White man to thank for all discoveries, inventions, science, technology, art, literature — including the plunder and pillage that happened along the way. The history books of the 1950’s credited a single Black, George Washington Carver, with the invention of peanut butter. End of story. Never was Eli Whitney and his cotton gin ever forgotten. History classes are always propaganda mills. Reverse racism is spirit-deadening stuff.

Erasing racism requires nothing short of recompense, retribution, and reparation. How much stolen principal and long-term interest has accrued in the coffers of the descendants of White Europeans who eviscerated the lives of Blacks stolen from the very birthplace of mankind.

My ancestors arrived from Catholic Europe. They left a worse place for a better place, but not in the holds of slave ships. Does that matter? Yes. Enormously. “Send the back” rewards the liar and the echo chamber resounds with the latest racist soundbite. The number of Black voices in the U.S. Catholic presence is miniscule in size, and you’ll never hear any programming that addresses the “inexplicable” absence of Black congregants. EWTN raged at Obama, the worst POTUS conceivable. With a plurality of 5 Catholics on SCOTUS, their affection for Trump is more than palpable.

Black citizens were lynched by the thousand in this country — hate can be very self-righteous. Lynchings were a public spectacle that drew large crowds. Newspapers would announce their commencement for the convenience and edification of their readers. Did you know that the majority of the curious attendees were White? Does it matter that the majority of attendees were White, that there just may have been a few reverse racists in those public gatherings at the town square? Of course, it is impossible to rule that out statistically.

Nice, respectable, hardworking, decent Americans who enjoyed law and order, voted for judges who were tough on crime. The nastiest criminals get away with it while remaining “pillars of society.”

The police could not (or would not) protect the victims from the mob. This is still the case. Racism defends the guilty while destroying their victims and making their victims serve the time.

White-Supremacist identity politics is jealous, sensitive-to-criticism, it is a privileged brand of entitlement. White Supremacy is a never expiring card that has its privileges. In short, it is a wild card, a Trump card — THE race card.
White-Supremacist identity politics wages endless war to fuel the most profitable economy on the planet: Munitions. A bullet expended, or a bomb exploded, or a drone destroyed triggers a purchase order for replacement. “The Defense Department” is an ugly misnomer, another piece of propaganda in the wall.


K-12 is Whitewashed propaganda served up as patriotism, disinfected of any facts that do not fit the White narrative, delivered in soundbites approved by a Texas textbook-approval mill and taught in all 50 states in the same bland white-bread way. No one wants to be lied to, to be confronted with opposing views that question the narrative.

Blacks have access to fewer-and-fewer decent schools, yet are blamed for being undereducated. Always.

Blacks get sent to prison early and often, incarcerated for minor infractions or trumped-up infractions, or for existing while Black. Kalief Browder was not the exception to that rule. Private prisons operate under the principle: one prisoner, one unit of profit.

Black youngsters such as The Central Park Five fear the police for profoundly good reasons. Trump is the poster boy for racists wannabes from coast to coast. A vaunted and respected voice that speaks not a word of decency.
